I loved them both. ASiB got the cogs in my head turning more than this, though. This was basically pure entertainment! (and that's not at all bad... just slightly less, perhaps?)
(also, to be fair, the question "what is love?" is basically the question in literature that I find the most interesting period. And I think that's what ASiB was about, so I was predisposed to like it more. :-) )
