For one of my author's choice drabbles in drabbles20in20 round 1.    This is the third appearance of Alexandra ("Lexie"), an original character.  (She appears in Act Three of Where Dreams Come True and From this day forward.)  I am rather fond of her....

Also, labourslamp has been giving me weird songs to prompt drabbles for my Author's Choice drabbles, and the song prompting this was The 5th Dimension, "Wedding Bell Blues".

How is Africa? Did you get that sunblock? Mycroft told me your address. I wore it in Cannes last summer, and I didn't burn at all!

I just want you to know that I love you and miss you, and when you've found whatever it is you're looking for, I'll still be here. I keep thinking about that evening in the park when you told me you had to go away. And even though it hurts to know how far away you are, I'm happy knowing that you're happy. I will always love you!

30 Days of Sherlock Holmes: Day 7

Day Seven--Your Favorite Piece of Music You Relate To Holmes
 

My first thought was... umm... I don't associate any music with Sherlock Holmes.

And then I remembered that one of my two favorite soundtracks of all time is Zimmer's soundtrack for the 2009 Sherlock Holmes.  :-)

Duh!

I quite like the 2009 Sherlock Holmes, but even if it had been a horrifying movie, it would have been worth this really wonderful soundtrack.
