...really? I literally didn't get a drop of Sherlock anywhere in this. The fans have tried to pull some out, but that's because they don't know anything about the source material and think Sherlock is an accurate and faithful version of the canon. They have no idea what the word 'adaptation' means.

I'm also not feeling the need to compare it to Sherlock? Like, I don't feel going in to this version that I need to compare it because they're both modern. I'm taking it on its own merit because it's only fair. No one was scrutinizing Sherlock against how close it was to the Rathbone films it so freely references and used as a model of the series, so I'm not even bringing Sherlock in to this because I feel it's irrelevant in talking about the show itself.
