More Billy Joel

med_cat just posted "Piano Man" which reminded me of just how amazing Billy Joel is.  So, since I am a copy cat, a few of my favorite Billy Joel Songs:



Summer, Highland Falls.  I just think this is gorgeous.

And then, I prefer the studio recording, but LOOK AT HIM PLAYING THE PIANO!  HOW DOES HE MOVE HIS HANDS SO FAST?!?!?!?!?!?!

Also, I couldn't tell you why exactly, but he reminds me of an ugly Robert Downey, Jr. in this video.  Does anyone else see it? :

Such a sad song.  Well, really Billy Joel's songs are almost all pretty sad, but real.  In my opinion, anyway.  On a different note:  Billy Joel with only the piano is WONDERFUL.  Cold Spring Harbor is one of my favorite albums, because it's almost all just voice and piano.  :-)

Okay, last one.  I just can't believe this is live.  I have to go to a Billy Joel Concert before it's too late...
