“What?”
“You’re wearing different clothes.”
“Yes?”
“You changed to look at a crime scene?”
“Some of us have a modicum of self respect…”
“Of course…”
“There was an ink spot on my lapel. It was—what are you humming?”
“Song I made up.”
“Spare us!”
“You're so vain!!!!! I bet you think this song is about you! Don’t you? Don’t you?”
“Huh.”
“What? Don’t you like it?”
“It’s… almost clever, really... I can’t believe you went to so much trouble just to insult me.”
“No—haha!—no… no trouble at all!”
“You can stop laughing any time now.”
